da fazobetai: According to Spanish publication AS, Tottenham and Arsenal are both keeping tabs on Miguel Silveira.
What’s the word?
da betway: The 16-year-old is currently plying his trade for Brazilian side Fluminense, and it appears he has already caught the eye of a couple of Premier League sides.
AS claim that north London rivals Spurs and Arsenal “have shown a great interest”, but it is Mikel Arteta’s side who have “moved fast”. It’s suggested that the Gunners have already sent scouts over to Brazil to watch the starlet in action, and are “arranging a meeting with the teenager and his family”.

The report further makes mention of how Silveira, “who has been likened to Philippe Coutinho for his physique and playing style”, has a buy-out clause of around €35m (£30.4m).
Saliba 2.0
One of the big transfer tussles last summer revolved around both Spurs and Arsenal’s pursuit of St Etienne prodigy William Saliba. The Frenchman appeared to be in high demand, and it initially looked as though the Gunners had pulled ahead in the race.
However, it was then reported that Spurs were trying to gazump their bitter rivals with a late move for the centre-back. But in the end, Saliba put pen to paper on a deal with Arsenal, and will be plying his trade at the Emirates when he returns from the season-long loan that was a part of the agreement.

Once again, Spurs and Arsenal are reportedly battling each other for yet another starlet. But this time, Daniel Levy really cannot afford to miss out on Silveira.
Having already seen his side’s late attempts to snatch Saliba end in catastrophe and with their tail tucked between their legs, they simply have to edge out Arsenal to the Brazilian this time around.
As the Lilywhites look to underline their status as a viable destination for players, this would be the kind of coup that would legitimise that.
Meanwhile, Tottenham goalkeeper Michel Vorm’s howler is a mistake down to Daniel Levy and Jose Mourinho.
