Everton have turned their form around since Carlo Ancelotti arrived in Merseyside but supporters have still not had a lot of get excited about this season.
A run of four defeats in 12 games under the Italian is cause for encouragement, as is Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s return of 15 goals, but fans have looked elsewhere for optimism.
It may be easy to forget about him, but Jonjoe Kenny is enjoying his football at the moment, or was before all football in Germany was suspended – where he is currently on loan at Schalke.
The right-back made the bold move to move abroad and had a lot of pressure on his shoulders to start regularly in a team still harbours hopes of Champions League qualification.
Kenny has impressed, however, and after turning 23 at the weekend many fans have been discussing his return next season – a prospect they are very much looking forward too.
There is good reason for that. Despite playing in Germany the youngster has adapted well and appears to be thriving under David Wagner.

Toffees supporters have taken note of that form, and believe he could be an upgrade on their current options, particularly Djibril Sidibe.
Did he play for Everton? Simple question but a lot tougher than you think…
The Frenchman’s loan expires in the summer and with Seamus Coleman now 31 there is a good chance for Kenny to step up and feature regularly at Goodison Park, especially since Ancelotti has started young players like Tom Davies and Mason Holgate on a regular basis, with the latter not missing a game under the Italian.
In other news, Everton have been linked with a summer transfer over the past few days…
