da marjack bet: Leeds United have received a £5,000 fine for failing to control their players after a brawl erupted between Leeds and Bolton Wanderers stars in the dying moments of their Championship match on 23rd February, as reported by the BBC.
The Trotters themselves have been hit with an £8,000 fine, whilst manager Phil Parkinson has separately been charged £3,000 and handed a two-game touchline ban for misconduct. Whites boss Marcelo Bielsa escaped punishment as he didn’t involve himself in the fracas.
The incident started when Leeds man Ezgjan Alioski was barged off the pitch by a Bolton player. Several members of both teams, and representatives of the coaching staff, got caught up in a heated confrontation near the dugouts.
