da dobrowin: It’s really difficult to find a single fault in Liverpool’s well-oiled machine that is governed by Jurgen Klopp, the reigning European champions being well ahead in the race for the Premier League title this season.
da aposte e ganhe: But there are very few Premier League clubs not carrying deadwood and the Reds are no exception. With that in mind and the January transfer window just around the corner, we look at two players the Anfield outfit should look to axe in the New Year…

Adam Lallana
Lallana is a difficult but unfortunately a rather obvious pick for the Reds. With the 31-year-old’s contract due to expire in the summer and his game time drastically cut in recent times – he’s amassed just 532 minutes this season – it may be time for Klopp to cut his ties with the player.
Who the heck is that?! Can you name all 25 of these obscure Man City signings…
Of course, Lallana still has his qualities but constant injuries have made it impossible for him to keep up with the current crop of players in the team who seem too far ahead in the pecking order.
Even though he was once an important piece of the Merseyside team’s jigsaw – way back then in 2016/17 when he tallied 2607 minutes across all competitions – he now seems to have faded into obscurity.
Xherdan Shaqiri
It just hasn’t worked out for Xherdan Shaqiri at Liverpool.
He was meant to add options to Klopp’s squad but the German gaffer just doesn’t seem to trust the Switzerland international, who he has started a mere 18 times since moving to Anfield around 18 months ago.
It’s a far cry from his influence at Stoke City, where he conjured up eight goals and seven assists in his final Premier League campaign.

And the impending arrival of Takumi Minamino makes Shaqiri even more redundant than he already is at Liverpool.
The Red Bull Salzburg star plays in the same positions – out wide and in attacking midfield – and the fact he’s been brought in suggests Shaqiri’s days are well and truly numbered.
If Liverpool can find a buyer in January, they should sell up.
