da esoccer bet: The future of a handful of Tottenham players who have been instrumental in the club’s success in recent years remain in serious doubt, with the likes of Toby Alderweireld, Mousa Dembele and Christian Eriksen all featuring heavily in the rumour mill.
da aviator aposta: The latter is a player who is adored by Tottenham supporters, but with his contract due to expire in June 2020 questions are starting to be asked concerning his future in north London.
Doubts over his long-term future have intensified recently following a report from the Daily Express, which claims both Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are keeping tabs on the Denmark international.
Reports linking a player of Eriksen’s calibre to some of Europe’s biggest clubs are only natural during a period of time in which Los Blancos are scouting the market for their next Luka Modric, so Tottenham supporters won’t be dreading an imminent departure just yet.
However, the report also details two attacking midfielders who Daniel Levy has been keeping tabs on this season to potentially sign in the event of Eriksen’s departure, namely Bradley Dack and Jack Grealish.
Both of the aforementioned players have been cited as potential replacements for Eriksen, and that will understandably fill Tottenham supporters with rage.
The departure of a player of Eriksen’s importance is one which cannot be taken lightly, but Tottenham’s interest in two players with virtually no experience at the top level between them indicates that Levy is up to his old tricks.
Simultaneously balancing the books and ensuring Tottenham remain part of the Premier League’s elite is a skill which Levy has mastered in recent years, but he cannot afford to become complacent as the club prepare to enter a new era.
The likes of Dack and Grealish are not even fit to lace Eriksen’s boots, never mind fill the void he would unquestionably leave behind if he eventually decides to embark on a new challenge away from north London.
If Levy is serious about Tottenham challenging for silverware he will need to dispose of his frankly embarrassing shortlist and consider signing a prestigious talent with rich experience in European football, otherwise he risks leaving the club in the wake of their European rivals.
